mPocket Development Workshop for Government Departments
Three full day workshops were held with OGCIO of the Government of HKSAR to introduce development of
mapping applications on mobile devices. The workshops illustrated the capabilities of mPocket
engine in different mobile computing platforms to attendees from various departments.
Ms. Lorraine Chu and Mr. Raymond Yu, Directors of Mappa, were
invited as speakers in RTHK program "一 台 e 科 net - IT 人
Dot Come", to introduce the trends and applications of GIS
in Hong Kong.
Mappa participated in the "GIS Technology Update" seminar
organised by the Hong Kong GIS Association (HKGISA), to demonstrate
our mPocket functionality with the topic "Using mPocket to
Enable GeoSpatial Functions in Mobile Applications".
